Waymaker is an organization focused on the future. We exist to purposely connect aspiring entrepreneurs with retiring business owners or mentors to advance wisdom and foundational truths to the next generation *in hope of greatly affecting marketplaces and communities.*
Our goal is to identify those whose God-given dream is to own a business, match them to the appropriate opportunity and help make it happen. We help aspiring entrepreneurs take their first steps toward making that dream a reality by breaking through any barriers standing in the way of their success. Likewise, we seek retiring entrepreneurs wishing to exit their business but continue their legacy.
Wayne and Kelly Swisher have started, acquired, invested in, and sold companies several times during their careers as entrepreneurs, and they have a dream to use that knowledge and wisdom to benefit others.
Throughout their years working in a number of different industries they noticed that when people are ready to retire or move on to the next thing, they often struggle to find the right person to take over their businesses, leaving their legacies and their employees hanging in the balance.
What if, they asked, there was a way to connect people who want to pass on their business and legacy with those people in the next generation with a similar dream to be business owners but who don’t necessarily have the funds or the know-how to make it happen?
And what if there was a way to employ the vast amount of wisdom that is parked out of the game in retirement? Wouldn’t everybody win?

Waymaker’s goal is to bring together like-minded individuals on all sides of a deal. While economics are an important part of any transaction, the social, spiritual and generational aspects are equally, and often more important. We believe that purposefully focusing on these key ingredients can build incredible companies, extraordinary citizens and will positively influence the direction of our nation.
Wayne and Kelly are building a network of like-minded people; those who are ready to invest in the next generation of entrepreneurs and those who are ready to find the right person to whom to turn over the keys of their businesses and transition to the next phase of their lives.
